Steve Meyer
Operating Advisor
Steve Meyer is an Operating Advisor with LionLight Capital where he provides strategic expertise on building and investing in digitally native businesses, with a deep focus on marketing and artificial intelligence.
Steve is also the Founder and CEO of Lift Ventures, a San Francisco-based firm that incubates, acquires, and operates data-driven online businesses. Since founding Lift, Steve has built a portfolio of consumer media and software brands that have collectively reached over 250 million consumers, including SuperSummary and JobHero (acquired by BOLD in 2018). As an active angel investor, Steve has also backed dozens of high-growth companies across fintech, SaaS, and consumer internet.
Earlier in his career, Steve was an investor at Globespan Capital Partners, a $1B+ technology venture capital firm, and a consultant at Bain & Company, where he served private equity and technology clients. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Public Policy from Duke University.
Outside of work, Steve is an avid trail runner and skier, and he enjoys exploring the Bay Area and traveling internationally with his wife and two kids.
